Which browsers are supported?
Google Chrome 138 or later on desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS).
Do I need an API key or my own AI model?
No. Translation runs on GlossCue servers. Install the extension, sign in and watch.
How does the free trial work?
Your first subscription includes 7 days free. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
Why do some shows translate instantly?
When someone has already watched the same subtitles, the saved translation appears right away, and it does not count toward your daily limit.
What is sent to GlossCue?
The subtitle text of what you watch, so it can be translated, and your Google account details for sign-in. Translations are shared between viewers without your account attached. See the privacy policy for details.
Does it work with Disney+?
Not yet. Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video are supported today.
